Welcome to my blog for Immeasurably More! I have been blessed to be Rick’s wife for 32 years. Together we’ve enjoyed the ups and downs of married life and rearing kids. We’ve been given the gift of three children and our family continues to grow with weddings! Our children, Zach, Ben & Caroline, Kassi & Stephen are a great source of joy! We have always lived in the beautiful Mitten State (it’s easy holding up your and and pointing to where you live! ) and thoroughly love the beautiful Lake Michigan shore!
I have been involved in Moms In Prayer International ministry for 24 years. Moms In Prayer has been a life changer for me. I learned how to pray aloud and cry out to God for the lives of my children as I gathered with other women to pray for an hour each week to pray for our children and schools. I am currently serving as the Special Needs Liaison for the USA. My desire is to encourage and give hope to other families who are on similar journey in rearing a child with Down syndrome or other special needs. I believe every life is precious and created in God’s image, and God has a purpose and plan for each one. Jeremiah 29:11

1 – I love being a wife and mom!
2 – I am learning how to golf . . . very slowly!
3 – Garretts caramel corn in Chicago is my favorite treat
4 – I love to celebrate special occasions with a theme
5 – Swimming laps is my favorite form of exercise
6 – I love football . . . especially Hamilton Hawkeyes and Detroit Lions
7 – I grew up on a chicken farm and gathered the eggs
8 – I love to bake and eat!
9 – I wear wooden shoes and dance in them once a year – in public!
10 – Houseboating = best vacation ever!
11 – I do not like birds!
12 – I’m a scrapbooker and love weekends away with friends to work on my photos
13 – My hubby and I built our own home and we still live in it 28 years later
14 – Sitting on the shores of Lake Michigan is my favorite way to spend a summer evening
